Skydiving might be an individual leap - but behind every jump is a team that makes it all possible. Welcome to our crew lounge, where you'll get to know the heart and soul of Skydive Academy: the people who live and breathe life above the clouds.
From seasoned instructors and licensed riggers to adrenaline-chasing newcomers, our team is a tight-knit mix of skydiving veterans, rising stars, and all-around legends. Here, you'll find out what role they play in the club today, and - of course - the skydiving nicknames they somehow earned (or got stuck with).
We've also included a few personal touches - first jump, favorite jump, favorite aircraft, favorite skydiving music, unusual pets, off-duty hobbies, and the kind of stories you usually only hear in the hangar.
So scroll down, meet the crew, and see why so many people say that what makes Skydive Academy special isn't just the view at 13,200 feet - it's the people who help you get there.
Born to cook, but destined to Skydive.
Hi! I've been skydiving since 2003 and still love every second in the sky. Over the years, I've competed in accuracy landing and paraski - and even brought home a bronze medal from the Paraski World Championship.
I'm a USPA Tandem Instructor, a CCAA Static Line Instructor, and a DFV-certified Senior Rigger. But more than anything, I'm passionate about sharing the thrill of skydiving with others.
My goal? To create as many skydivers as possible - and make sure they're well-fed too! I love cooking for my students and believe that good food and good vibes belong right next to good jumps.

No fence can hold me in.
Hey there! I was born in Dubrovnik and now call Zagreb home — though I spend most of my time somewhere between altitude and ground. I hold a USPA Coach rating and am here to support students, help the team, and secretly collect enough knowledge to one day become everyone's favorite instructor.
I'm passionate about teaching, and my long-term goal is to become an instructor who's equal parts calm, competent, and caffeinated. Whether it's helping someone nail their first exit or figure out why their flare feels off — I'm here for it.
When I'm not skydiving, you can usually find me racing karts, running through the woods in airsoft gear, or elbow-deep in another fun project. Whatever it may be, you are always welcome to jump in and join!

Got the nickname after series of unexpected airplane malfunctions happened around me in a short period of time. Don't worry, I probably won't be flying you to your jump - I teach others to do that. I'm a full time flight instructor and examiner for single engine and multi engine piston airplanes in both visual and instrumental flying conditions as well as one of few instructors for advanced upset prevention and recovery training.
I accumulated over 2000 flying hours in my career, of those almost 500 skydiving flights. Somewhere along the way, I got addicted to skydiving and now I'm a B licensed skydiver.
Passionate about flying, increasing aviation safety and more flying.

Married to one, related to another, and constantly amazed by the third.
Unlike the others, I operate firmly on the ground and leave the thrill-seeking to them.
I'm the “mom” of the group offering emotional support, calming nerves before jumps, and making sure everyone's okay. I also provide the spaces that keep the academy running such as the classroom, the rigger's loft, and even a place to crash if someone needs to stay overnight.
And when I'm not keeping tabs on the three overgrown adrenaline junkies, I manage my two actual kids, trying to sprinkle a little routine into all the altitude. That said, my daughter already has her eyes on her dad's adrenaline-fueled lifestyle... so I might be outnumbered sooner than I thought.
